You can now download on our website a beta-version of the ecoSpold format version 2 which is designed to replace the current ecoSpold format for the next version of the ecoinvent database, scheduled for release in 2011.

This first beta version is intended for testing and initial software development, in order to verify the practicability of the format. We welcome comments from users and software developers. A second beta version is expected in summer 2009, and the final release is due in spring 2010.
