Further errors in life cycle inventory datasets v1.01 (corrected in v1.1):
Further errors in life cycle inventory datasets v1.01 (corrected in v1.1): - The emission to rivers of "oil, unspecified" released by the Swiss refinery was distinctly wrong. However, as no LCIA method includes this pollutant (COD or BOD is used to consider its eutrophying impact, which was and is correct), this error has no impact on the level of LCIA results.
- The amount of gases flared and vented at oil production in the Near East (RME) was erroneously underestimated by a factor of 1'000. Cumulative NMVOC emissions of oil products will raise by 10 to 20 %, the emission of CO2 and other pollutants will also be higher (but less distinctly).
- land use exchange "Occupation, traffic area, road network" (20'000m2a) has been added to the dataset "mine, limestone".
