During the InLCA/LCM conference 2006, held in Washington D.C., Rolf Frischknecht and the ecoinvent Team received the award of the "Best Methodological Contribution". They investigated on the environmental relevance of capital equipment in life cycle assessments of a large number of products and services from various economic sectors.
