In Japan, Yamatake Corp. operates and sells the japanese translation of the ecoinvent database.

The following LCA software suppliers implemented an EcoSpold interface to import ecoinvent datasets:

• ecobilan / PriceWaterhouseCoopers (Team)
• Institute of Environmental Sciences, Leiden University (CMLCA)

IMI Chalmers developed a translation support into ISO/TS 14048 and SPINE formats, on commission of CPM. With this feature LCA practitioners using an LCA-software with a SPINE / ISO/TS 14048 interface are able to import EcoSpold datasets and thus have an easy access to the ecoinvent data. The conversion tool is accessible for free.
