What can I do if I have problems accessing ecoinvent online?

Please, first of all, check that you are using a valid username. If you are not sure what your login details are please contact us at support@ecoinvent.org.

If you are using a valid username and password the problem may lie with the browser you are using.

 

Internet Explorer - Getting Redirected to Start Page

If you are using windows and when logging into ecoinvent version 3 you are constantly being redirected to the start page you may be using an old version of the Internet Explorer.

 

Try updating your Internet Explorer to the latest version 11. Another option would be to use another browser like Firefox or Chrome.

 

 

Safari - Error Message: no certificate is valid

If you are using Safari and you receive an error message "no certificate is valid" the problem may be caused by your browser having an expired certificate.

 

You can either try to delete this certificate (check the 'Keychain Access Tool') or to simply trust the ecoQuery website. Another option would be to use another browser like Firefox or Chrome.
